It was a good challenge to try to put the right hand in the background while letting the left hand sign. 10 Happy Farmer (Froehlicher Landmann), was a great exercise for the left hand, because it carries the melody almost the entire piece. I liked the piece a lot and was very happy my teacher assigned it to me. The last section is very fun to play with the octaves. The first section, with the staccato notes, was very deceiving because both hands move in parallel, but the fingering is of course different in each hand. 7 Hunting Song (Jaegerliedchen), was a big challenge back then when I learned it.
